when a cheesehead met st croix usvi
It all started in 2006 when Lisa, a University of Wisconsin School of Business alum and bonified cheesehead nerd, decided to leave the corporate grind and venture out on her own. Having given up the frozen tundra for the beach years earlier, Paradise started, originally as Paradise HR Solutions, on St Croix USVI.
Similar to Lisa’s career, Paradise was involved in other services from the beginning, including marketing and web development. Wanting to better represent the services after relocating, Paradise HR Solutions became Paradise Business Solutions and settled in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

st croix usvi
Although the largest of the US Virgin Islands, St. Croix is less popular than St. Thomas and St. John. However, St. Croix is a hidden gem, offering an array of cultural and art events, diving, beautiful beaches, and delicious cuisine.
St. Croix was never as reliant on tourism as St. Thomas. As a result, St. Croix and its residents were not as embraced as other Caribbean islands. With the closure of the oil refinery, the largest employer on the island, St. Croix and Crucians were forced to re-evaluate and regroup. However, even with the damage from hurricanes Irma and Maria, St. Croix and its residents continue to bounce back. St. Croix is a beautiful celebration of the diversity of cultures and people who, for whatever reason, ended up on this island paradise and decided to stick around.
