Our Story: Where We Come From
Paradise Business Solutions started in 2006 by Lisa M. Daniels on the island of St. Croix, USVI, having relocated years earlier from the frozen tundra. After watching islanders deal with damaging hurricanes, tourism boycotts based on misinformation and slow to no resources and assistance, there was a simple observation: the most resilient businesses were those deeply woven into the fabric of their community. They understood that building their business and serving their neighbors weren’t separate goals—they were the same.
We still carry the “Paradise” name, not as a promise of palm trees, but as a commitment to a higher standard: the belief that a truly successful business creates a haven of safety, respect, and opportunity for its people and the surrounding community. It’s a standard we maintain as Piedmont Triad HR consultants.
